In 2003, I established United Publishing & Media in Greenwich, Connecticut to launch a unique B2B and lifestyle publication, Executive Decision. This publication saw revenue increase by 268% in 3 years and won multiple awards.

In August, 2008 NewsMarkets, LLC acquired part of United Publishing & Media and merged our publishing practices to enhance Directorship magazine and launch a new supplement - Executive Living. The merged publication will bear the flagship name of Directorship and the “Executive Living” section of Executive Decision magazine will become its own stand-alone publication, mailing with Directorship.

My contract following the acquisition kept me with Newsmarkets until December 31st, 2008. The magazine name Executive Decision, was later acquired by another entity with a view to a relaunch at a later date.

International Media Executive: I have been fortunate to work for some of the world’s largest publishing companies in both Europe and the USA. I have held roles as the Group Head and as a Publisher working on flagship publications as well as launching a national B2B start-up publication for Reed Business Information in New York City. Career Track: Starting at the grass roots level as a commission-only executive for Yellow Pages, growing through classified sales manager and national sales management roles through to Group Head and Publisher. I have been involved in Web technologies, operations and product launches since 1991.

Proven Record: I am skilled in all areas of executive management and sales including developing operations in the U.S. and
Europe, building premier brands, creating innovative packages, alliances and relationships both internally and externally.
With keen budgeting, analysis and P&L experience, I have consistently exceeded company objectives achieving triple-digit
gains in revenues and profits repeatedly.

Entrepreneurial Experience: I founded my own publishing company in 2003, personally invested in it, sought out growth funding and negotiated the acquisition of the company in mid-2008. During this period I managed every aspect of the building of the business, strategic alliances and an early acquisition of a Web-based product to expand into a new marketplace. I grew revenues by 268% in a 3 year period and saw EBITDA grow by 142% in a 12-month period.

Ø  Initiated the need for and the opening of two regional offices in the U.K. for a Global Publishing Company: Produced annual revenue gains of almost 250% and market share gain of over 50%.

Ø  Launched a national B2B publication in New York City: Relocated to the USA and entered a tough market against strong established magazines and secured 36% market share and 6 awards in less than 2 years.

Ø  As Founder of United Publishing & Media:  Identified a need in the market and delivered a unique product, again producing triple-digit revenue growth of 268% in 3 years. Made profitable within 3 years of launch.
